 Back in New Orleans. Got to town to get to Reese's Senior Basketball game free at Super Dome about      20 block walk from hotel decided not to take the $25 one way peddle bike ride. Our gift from our host all the free Reeses butter cup coupons you could carry and free tees  Joyce left me watching the game and went on a mission to get as many shirts a seen on the photo. People were laughing at my umbrella bag tee scarf.  We were able to  get a picture with John Thompson.

The final 4 game we attended was very nice lots of people walking with thousands of people, it wasinsane Anyone trying to drive was crazy the walking sober and drunk  masses ruled the streets. The tees got cheaper and cheaper as the teams started to lose. We got lots of exercise walking about 4- 5 miles a day. Joyce did go on bourbon street at night with the drunks and it proved to be to many drunk people in close quarters and we had to leave..

Drove from MS. We usually don’t like valet parking but in the French Quarter where it took us 35 minutes to just get in front of the hotel/time share. We landed at the QuarterHouse  nice 2blocks over from Bourbon St. Joyce found another deal 7 day for a steal during NCAA Final 4 and championship. Initially it was small 1 bedroom w/living room with partial kitchen. Our bed was maybe 8 feet from Jacuzzi pool in a terrace outside our 2 louver doors. Joyce didn’t like the room or the staff she kept asking them to move us and they gave her the run around but that didn’t keep her from continually asking. Until she got us a 2 bdrm 2 bth  living room that would hold 2 of the first place we were in  with washer/dryer.

 



 

Get ready for trolley rideGood ride until blinding rain and violent lightninig strikes while sitting in basically a tin can running on miles of exposed electric cableLook at the rain- this was 300 feet from our hotel we got soaked before we got halfway across the street Turnaround - Driver just moves to other end of trolley and slides the open seats to face the other direction

 

She was riding and holding a cell phone. We asked for pricing on ride to superdome $25.00 one way we walked the 20 blocks -- after convencing Joyce not to peddleBike jack her

Out  and About 

 

 Out on Burbon St with the drunks. Joyce not very happy with drunks or the big crowd.Just before we made a swim for the shipAs you can see Joyce made a mad dash for tees she chased down a crying 5 year old took her tees and the free reeses candy coupons. She was mugging the young old and the in between. I had to stop her from jacking John Thompson Sr.he had a shirt that she wanted. That is why she has a mask oh I mean a scarf

 

 

 

 

 
 

This is second room we had, the living room is lager the the 1 bed room we initially had. Joyce mask does com in handy  inside the room Hallway to the 2 bedroom we got after Joyce went Gangsta  Masterbedroom washer dryer full kitchen 3 large Flatscree tv's and now I think that Um gonna stop wearing a belt and hold my pants up by hand next time when bring less Holly underwear
